New Technology Chief at Barbour Logic

Kishan Hickman has joined Barbour Logic as Chief Technology Officer. He joins the automated solutions specialist from online retailer Abel and Cole Ltd where he was responsible for all software development and service innovation. Hickman has extensive experience in advanced cloud-based customer service systems, including omni channel customer support desks and ITIL Helpdesks. He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, and cofounded a specialist CRM software consultancy before moving to the UK in 2009.

“Kishan’s leadership experience and technical expertise will add further impetus to our product development programme as we build on our reputation as a pioneer in service automation for local authorities,” says Barbour Logic’s founder, Jason Barbour. “Kishan’s experience, expertise and enthusiasm are just what we need to continue developing innovative solutions for local authorities and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”

Kishan Hickman joins Barbour Logic as Fiona Deans confirms she is leaving the company. Having played an important role in helping Barbour Logic to consolidate its market-leading status, Deans says the company is now well placed for its next phase of growth. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with such a highly motivated team over the past few years and am pleased to have contributed to such a success story. I am particularly proud of the completely revamped version of Response Master that was unveiled recently at Parkex.”

Jason Barbour will now resume responsibility for operational management of Barbour Logic, with Matt Turner maintaining responsibility for product management and Faisal Basharat and Janice Wigglesworth continuing to lead on customer service and sales.
